About the service

So you have decided to get a truck driver's licence. Awesome! Now, you need to choose the gearbox that you should learn to drive on. Ourgearbox training service is designed to help you drive with any gearbox. This enables you to expand your driving skills and handle a broader range of vehicles.

The different gearbox services we ofer are:

• Syncromesh (also called standard) gearbox
• Constantmesh (also called road ranger / unrestricted / crash box) gearbox
• Automatic gearbox

Different trucking jobs will require you to know diffferent types of gearboxes so you need to choose one that matches the type of job that you will be applying to.

What’s part of the service

Here at DesiPilot Truck Driving School, our gearbox training includes:

1. Instruction on the differences between syncromesh, constantmesh, and automatic gearboxes and their respective operation principles.
2. Hands-on training to develop the necessary skills for efficient gear shifting and clutch control.
3. Practice sessions to familiarise yourself with the specific gear shifting patterns and techniques required.
